Our bones are the fundamental building blocks that create the foundation for our overall structure.  There are 206 bones in the human body, and each one plays an important role in supporting our bodies.  We use our bones to house and protect the brain and spinal cord, give us our shape, and create the blood cells that carry nutrients to vital parts of the body.
