About Jules, pilates instructor
Jules Baratta is a Philly area born and raised fitness professional who is in love with movement and passionate about your wellness. She was classically trained in ballet and contemporary dance from toddler through the college level and fell in love with Pilates, yoga, nutrition and fitness in high school. She began picking up heavy objects in college and immediately fell in love with weight lifting. Throughout college, Jules danced with Philly-based Opus 1 Contemporary Dance company. After college, Jules became a personal trainer in the fitness loving city of Austin, Texas before deciding she liked shoveling snow too much to spend winters down south.
Outside of work, you can find her in the gym, on the trails, exploring the city, or planning her next trip abroad. She is currently working in the corporate fitness world, just completed her first half marathon this past fall, and is always looking to challenge herself and her students.
Education & Certifications
Jules has been classically trained in ballet and modern dance for 20+ years. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Dance from Eastern University. Jules specializes in teaching Power Pilates, and has been a group fitness instructor for over 6 years. She is an ACE certified health coach and a one on one personal trainer.
